A man who became a monk because he hates to see ghosts - reality version Constantine

That was when I was in college.

There was a unique person living in the next room.

He didn't seem to work, so he lived alone without going to college. It looked very weird.

Usually, such people were often "game-adddict". Therefore, in most cases, appearance and manners are messed up.

However, the person had a neat appearance and gentle manners. The person's life was also very regular.

I met him often when I lived in the next room. Naturally we got to know each other. He didn't drink. But he liked coffee and tea. So we talked well over tea and coffee.

One day I had a coffee in my room and I asked him.

"Excuse me, what kind of work do you do? "

"I don't work.  I'll  enter from the temple.""

"Do you mean to be a monk?"

"That's it"

"Why are you trying to become a monk?"

He answered my question by looking at my face for a while.

"I don't want to see an demon"

He saw ghosts when he was young.  A ghost is a figure of a dead person. The appearance of the ghost was not normal.

"There are still suddenly ghosts appearing and talking to me. At that time I'm also surprised."

He spoke quietly.

He says he couldn't live a normal life at all. He often had seizures and lived madly.

His parents did everything to cure him. But they failed. Finally they visited a temple. There he met a fine monk. Since then, his life has become calmer.

"I can still see ghosts. But I can see few bad ghosts. Fortunately No more ghosts torment me."

He spoke with a very serious look.

Since then he and his family have constantly gone to the temple. The whole family has become an avid Buddhist believer. They went to the temple every week and prayed hard.

One day, a monk told him, "Prepare to be monk soon."

He didn't tell anyone., but he had already decided to be monk.

"I annoyed my family. So I live alone like this for a year before I became a monk. I am praying and meditating here."

I was suddenly interested.

"Is there really a ghost? Can you still see it?"

"Of course there is. I can still see it. There is one over there."

He pointed to one with a refrigerator in my room.

That night I saw a ghost for the first time. I woke up in the middle of the night, and looked at the refrigerator. There was a little girl's ghost leaning forward. I screamed. Then I visited the him in the next room.

"I saw a ghost. Please help me. I'm so scared."

I cried out. (It's embarrassing to think about it now.)

"Don't worry. It's not a bad demon."

He came to my room and muttered  about the sutra.

"There are no ghosts anymore. Good night."

He said and back to his room.

But, I was very scared at that time. So I went to my friend's house that night.

He made his final greeting in the winter of that year.

"I'm going to become a monk, now"

And he gave me his goods like a person who really broke ties with the world

I still care.

Was it the real ghost I saw at that time?

Or do I just see the illusions because of my scary feelings?

Did he really become a monk?

Sometimes that person is remembered.

It is a true story that I directly experienced.
